About Us:

After teaching in London and various special needs schools for more than 17 years, Zadel Tainton started Pin Point Tutor which has been operational for the last 2 years. Pin Point Tutor is where she uses her teaching experience from the past by the successful application thereof in her current classes.

Pin Point Tutor uses remedial lessons which focus on assisting individuals with barriers to learning: students that might have ADHD, ADD or other learning difficulties in areas such as Literacy, Numeracy and Perceptual skills from Grade 1 to 9. Students that are struggling academically or falling behind in the classroom or just not reaching their full potential will benefit the most from the remedial lessons.

The aim is to bridge the gap between present learning and desired future learning by overcoming identified obstacles. It is a multi-dimensional approach, tailor-made for each student’s precise needs. Pin Point Tutor wants to successfully build your child’s skills, understanding and confidence through learning.

A well-structured, individualised programme is developed for each student, which uses a variety of techniques to address any learning difficulties that they may experience. Each application encourages your child to thrive by fostering success, building self-esteem and mastery during the process.

At Pin Point Tutor is enthusiastic about it`s subjects and have a positive approach towards challenges that the learner struggles with. The learner will be taught to organize their sum or work. At the same time they will learn to make notes for test or exams on important concepts. This teaches them study skills as well.

Parents want the best for their children and sometimes just need some additional guidance. At Pin Point Tutor I love assisting parents on methods that work, routine, guidance on SEN students and overall working with my students’ parents for positive results.

The goal of Pin Point Tutor is to produce confident and empowered learners who have a strong memory, the ability to perform as an expert in any classroom environment and who have executive functioning skills as well as all the necessary skills to keep up with the classroom and academic demands.
